Frequently asked questions
How to choose haircut and plant-pruning dates for your preferences. Answers about the calendar, daily tarot, birth charts, music and reminders.
About EntreFases
What is EntreFases for?
To help you choose when to cut your hair or prune your plants according to Moon phases and your preferences. Choose phases that match your goals, set your haircut interval and check the dates marked in your calendar. You can configure reminders for those dates.
Do I need an account?
You can check the Moon, calendar and daily card without registering. Guest preferences and spreads stay in that browser or device. An account saves your preferences and lets you retrieve your spreads on other devices. Email and push reminders require an account and an enabled delivery service.
Who can read my feedback or bug reports?
Messages sent through the form are stored privately for the EntreFases administrator to review. Other users cannot read them. You can also send as a guest. Messages go directly to the administrator, with no sender history.
The Moon and calendar
What is today's Moon phase?
The home page shows the phase and illuminated percentage calculated for the time of your visit. Choose another date in the calendar to explore its Moon.
Does the Moon phase change by country?
The phase occurs at the same instant worldwide. Local dates and times, and the orientation of the visible disk, can differ by location.
When is the next full Moon?
Today and the calendar show the next full Moon. Select a date to see its phase, illumination and upcoming phase events.
What do scissors and leaves mean in the calendar?
Scissors mark your selected haircut phases once your haircut interval is met. Leaves mark your selected plant-care phases. Change either selection in Preferences.
Hair and plants
Can I choose more than one Moon phase?
Yes. Combine phases for haircuts and choose others for plants. Both selections are independent and appear in the same calendar.
How do I get a reminder?
Save your preferred phases, interval and delivery time. Each reminder has separate email and notification controls; delivery depends on service availability and your device permissions.
How do I choose phases for my goal?
In lunar tradition, waxing phases are chosen for growth and waning phases to keep a haircut or shaping prune for longer. Full Moon is associated with volume and vitality. New Moon is set aside for observation and planning. Hair and plant cards describe each phase’s goals to help you choose.
How is my next haircut calculated?
We look for the next date matching one of your chosen phases after the interval since your last haircut, if provided. Plants have their own phase selection and do not use the haircut interval.
The cards
Which tarot deck does EntreFases use?
The complete 78-card Rider–Waite–Smith deck, with upright cards. Images retain the historical artwork; the Spanish and English interpretations are written by EntreFases.
Can I return to today's tarot card?
Yes. Returning to Tarot shows the same spread until the next daily reset. Guests can draw the daily card, saved in this browser. Three-card spreads require an account. With an account, both spread types keep their original reading in your history.
How many spreads can I draw each day?
One daily card and one three-card spread per day. Three cards require an account; you can sign in with Google or email. Your account history preserves the cards and their original readings. They are independent: drawing one does not block the other, but neither can be repeated on the same day. Returning to the section shows your saved result. Tap to turn over each of the three cards; after the last, “View all” brings the complete reading together. Each card can be upright or reversed; its orientation and reading are saved with the spread.
When do spreads reset?
Both kinds reset at midnight in Buenos Aires. Your result shows the next reset in your device’s local time.
How is a three-card spread interpreted?
Then reviews a possible experience or starting point; Now addresses what needs attention; Next suggests an attitude or resource for the next step. The three cards are distinct. The synthesis connects each card’s motifs and their order, with specific connections for some pairs.
Where do the interpretations come from?
They are original EntreFases texts in Spanish and English based on Rider–Waite–Smith symbols. Cards are upright. The daily card includes a question and a practical suggestion. The historical reference is The Pictorial Key to the Tarot by A. E. Waite; our texts are original adaptations, not quotations or literal translations. No generation API is used to produce your reading.
Does my sign or the Moon determine my card?
No. Cards are drawn at random from the 78-card deck. Your sign and Moon phase do not alter the selection. A result keeps its reading throughout the day; when a card returns another day some meaning may return too, because its symbolism stays consistent.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
The guest daily card stays only on that device: clearing its data or changing browsers prevents retrieval of that local result. With an account, the daily limit and spreads are kept on the server.

Open the cardsBirth Moon and birth chart
Can I find my birth Moon without a birth time?
Yes, using an approximate reference for your birth date. Alternative signs are shown when a sign may change that day. The ascendant and houses require a birth time and place.
Does sharing a birth chart reveal my birthday?
It is hidden by default. Turn on the date switch before preparing the image if you want to include it. English images use year-month-day.
How is the birth chart calculated?
Sun, Moon and planetary positions are calculated locally using Astronomy Engine. We use the tropical zodiac and whole-sign houses. The ascendant and houses need the date, time, time zone and coordinates of the birthplace. Interpretations of the five personal planets are EntreFases texts.
What are the aspects shown in the chart?
They are angular relationships: conjunction (0°), sextile (60°), square (90°), trine (120°) and opposition (180°). The allowed orb is up to 6° for the Sun or Moon and 4° for other planets. Aspects are not shown without a known birth time.
Are my birth details sent to an external service?
Calculations run on your device. When searching for a place, our server asks Photon/OpenStreetMap using the place name you enter, without sending your birth date or time. Search for an address or town, choose a suggestion or mark the place on the map. Manual coordinates remain an advanced alternative. Shared images do not include your name, birth time or birthplace.
Horoscope
Where does the horoscope come from?
The reading is requested from AstroWay for your sign, language and date. Its source is identified in the section. If no reading is available, the screen says so; EntreFases does not invent a replacement.
Can I share or receive the reading by email?
Sharing and sending the text depend on the provider allowing reuse and that integration being enabled. The image button only includes the reading when it is available for that use.
Song of the day
Is the song the same for everyone?
Yes. One song is selected for each Buenos Aires date, without repeating the same composition in the previous seven days. Personal preferences do not change that selection.
What if YouTube blocks a video?
The player tries another song when YouTube reports removal or blocked embedding. Restrictions can vary by country. If the browser blocks autoplay, you can start the song using the play button.
How do I enable autoplay?
Turn on “Always play the song of the day” beside the player or in Preferences. It is saved in your browser and, with an account, in your profile. The browser or Android may require an interaction before allowing sound.
The interactive calendar and your preferences become available when the app loads.
